Lilith, 2026

Video 4k, generated with AI, color, sound, 18'.

Lilith (2026) is an 18-minute 4K video fully generated with AI, exploring virtual portals and environments.

The work unfolds as an
infinite loop without a fixed narrative, moving through three distinct phases: science fiction, kawaii aesthetics, and darker, more enigmatic dimensions. Inspired by portals in Second Life, the piece reflects on the scarcity of female protagonists in video games and reinterprets the myth of Lilith, traditionally portrayed as a dangerous woman in patriarchal narratives. According to legend, Lilith was the first woman, created before Eve, who refused to submit to Adam and was expelled from paradise, becoming an enduring symbol of rebellion and autonomy.

The female protagonist endlessly traverses these virtual worlds, activating a critique of the cultural imaginaries that limit women’s presence in digital culture and contemporary art. The work can also be read as a personal, autobiographical journey, reflecting the artist’s struggle to navigate the constraints of her practice and the broader challenges she faces as a woman. By placing an autonomous female character in a video game–inspired environment, the piece reframes Lilith as an archetype of
radical freedom, exploring both myth and contemporary gender dynamics.
