The Oracle is a work that thinks over the future of the human being, our history and the possibility of changing or choosing the destiny. The first part of the project consists in compiling questions from anonymous persons. The purpose is to meditate about our political and social future. As did our Greek ancestors, we will ask the oracle. What would you like to know? What is it going to happen with the capitalism? Is it possible another kind of system? What should we change? The Oracle answers. The second part is the video work. After receiving so many questions I have made a selection and sent them to my Oracle: Federico Campagna, Fina Reig and Angélica Anquela Gil. They answered the questions and withit I have made the script of the piece. The result is the video to watch The Oracle receiving the questions through a smartphone and answering them. |
